Thank you.

The 23rd LD democrats, and democratic organizations across the county and state, have a lot of people to thank today, the day after record-breaking turnout for our caucuses. Thanks to the volunteers who did their best under challenging circumstances to carry off these events. Thanks to the impromptu volunteers at every location, who came forward with no notice to help the coordinators deal with the phenomenally high turnout. Thanks to the facilities who hosted our events, some of whom went above and beyond with problem-solving and logistical help to do everything from unlocking the doors to turning the lights on -- which in some places took hours and tens of phone calls by impromptu volunteers.

Most of all, thanks to the thousands of voters who turned out yesterday to participate in the democratic process at its grassroots finest. We appreciate your energy, your patience, and your willingness to participate in the process. We also appreciate your support. The caucuses are an expensive process for the party, and your generosity yesterday will help cover both the cost of the caucuses and help support democratic candidates.

To those of you for whom this was your first contact with the party, we encourage you to get involved and stay involved. Please bookmark this website and come visit us here again, as updated events and information will be going up as soon as we recover from the caucus clean-up. Please also consider joining the 23rd LD organization. Dues are just $24 a year. Please also RSVP to join us at the upcoming Jefferson Jackson Dinner on February 23rd.

Regardless of which candidate you supported in yesterday's caucus, it is going to take each and every one of us, working together, to elect Democrats to offices at all levels this fall. Thank you for your participation in yesterday's caucus, and for your participation in the months and years to come.
